Please join us in congratulating Ken Rothman for receiving ISPE's Distinguished/Outstanding Service Award! This award is for a Fellow who has provided significant leadership, dedication, and contribution to the Society over a period of time. When nominating Ken for this award, his colleagues at RTI Health Solutions shared, "Ken has been among the leading voices in epidemiology training and practice for decades, having authored hundreds of manuscripts on methodological and substantive topics, founded the journal Epidemiology, and authored 2 major epidemiology textbooks which have shaped epidemiologic thinking for a generation of students and trainees. His list of professional awards and recognitions from professional societies, journals, and academic or research institutions is impressive by any measurement, and he has been widely recognized both as an investigator and as an educator."
