Kate Nelson, PMP, MEd, is a project manager at RTI-HS. Ms. Nelson has more than 10 years of project management, risk evaluation and mitigation, change management, and process redesign experience across private and public sectors. She has experience in the development and execution of Phase I-III patient recruitment campaigns for national and international pharmaceutical and contract research organizations within a variety of therapeutic indications, including oncology, women’s health, autoimmune diseases, kidney disease, and respiratory disease. Ms. Nelson has extensive knowledge in developing site management plans, including training and optimization involving site list management, site selection, and strategic communication plans for site recruitment goals. Her work includes analyzing work performance data into performance reports to optimize campaign metrics and guide strategic decisions. She has developed patient-facing recruitment websites, prescreeners, and software analytic dashboards involving user acceptance testing processes for a variety of clients and clinical trials. Ms. Nelson has expertise in institutional review board submissions and regulation of documentation tracking, as well as experience in development of United States English site and patient-facing materials, including digital, television/radio, and print, and translation of these materials for study and recruitment purposes. Her background includes new business and proposal development, vendor management and relations, and cultivation of partnerships with advocacy groups.
