Alejandro Vanegas, MS, CPH, is a Senior Project Manager in the Surveys and Observational Studies group at RTI-HS. Mr. Vanegas has over a 15 years of clinical research experience conducting epidemiological and observational studies and clinical trials in various areas, such as cardiovascular disease, rare diseases, cognitive disorders, oncology, chemoprevention, obesity, and health literacy. He has a background in the development of innovative, web-based, digital health products, implementation science, and entrepreneurship, and he has led teams in the development and implementation of evidence-based health solutions with a focus on health equity. He also has expertise in human subject research recruitment, patient centered outcomes and conducting qualitative and quantitative interviews,particularly in underrepresented groups. He is an epidemiologist by training, is certified in public health, and has taught epidemiology as an adjunct instructor of public health at the State University of New York.
